Pasadena City College ADN Fall 2023

Published

Hey Everyone! Just thought I'd make a thread for PCC's Fall 2023 ADN applicants. This is my first time applying and applications open up the week of April 1 - April 15. I have also applied to other schools like College of the Canyons, Pierce College, Glendale College, Antelope Valley College, Butte College. I wish everyone the best of luck!

I did. I guess I don't understand their lotto rules. They've only mentioned their points system and how they will select based on that. The application form is terrible at best.

This doesn't sound right. I would definitely check in with them. I saw that someone got in  with an 85 and an 87. If you had a 90 you should've been accepted before them, unless there was an issue with your app. The lotto would come into play for folks below your score since you got the higher score.

I'd email asap to figure out what happened. Maybe they emailed you requesting something and you never got it or it went to your junk? Either way I'd look into it asap since tomorrow is the deadline for a lot of folks to accept.

Thanks!
I did email back through the rejection email asking for clarification. I don't know if I'll hear back though.

I still haven't heard anything yet and I'm at around 92 points. I've accepted my offer at an ABSN program in Orange County but would've still appreciated a notification email ?

Some people had this problem last application cycle. I would just reach out to them and call the number that someone posted in the thread for the health sciences department.

im afraid of calling and asking, as they highly recommended in their zoom orientation not to call and ask ?‍♀️? but im very conflicted. It's stressing me out beyond belief.

can we assume that if we haven't gotten emailed/contacted yet that we've been rejected? Conflicted on also contacting them. 85 points atm but I'll have 92 points next cycle ?

I called them a couple of times, there's nothing wrong with asking bc if you don't take initiative this late in the game, you'll just be stressed. They meant that like in the beginning, like in the 8-10 weeks.

Hi everyone,

I wanted to say thank you for giving me your feedback and advice on how to best choose. I have been going crazy trying to decide but every comment has helped.

I have a feeling things will be finalized on Monday/Tuesday since I think today was the last day for people to confirm they will attend.
