Pasadena City College ADN Fall 2023

Published

Hey Everyone! Just thought I'd make a thread for PCC's Fall 2023 ADN applicants. This is my first time applying and applications open up the week of April 1 - April 15. I have also applied to other schools like College of the Canyons, Pierce College, Glendale College, Antelope Valley College, Butte College. I wish everyone the best of luck!

Hey,

I haven't gotten in (hopefully I do eventually) but I recommend starting a facebook group (that's allowed on here)

Maybe it's little too early too make facebook page cuz we still have couple days left to send intent form. Since someone is withdrawling the spot you really have high chance to get in!! Always remain hopeful. Thought you already have a offer from ELAC, are you willing to choose PCC if you get offer?

? received the, "We regret to inform you" email.

I'm so sorry ?

Thank you for starting this thread in the first place and thank you for updating us.

That's a bummer! So sorry. Did they send it to your pcc email or personal email?

Received my rejection at 4:01pm. It was in my spam folder! Interesting, because I got into GCC last month, but did not accept there. Guess it depends on how competitive of a class. I decided to go out of state to an accelerated program.

My score was 84 for anyone wondering. I hope for those that need to get in that they do! Good luck.

I would still consider it because I heard that PCC prepares students really well and I want to get the best training I can (their pass rates are also a lot higher). I'd have to think about it carefully though because I have almost everything ready for ELAC at this point.

I have my uniform, badge, health requirements, and they just gave us our class schedule. Tomorrow we are having our 2nd orientation of 3 and they'll review the syllabi. That might be too much for some but I like that it's felt organized (aside from the initial application process) and that program leadership has been really willing to help.

Sorry to hear that but it's awesome you're headed for an ABSN. I had strongly considered moving to Maine for an ABSN program myself. Best of luck with everything.

so nervous....

85 points and no response yet. Been checking my inbox and spam.

Best of luck, everyone. Very happy for everyone that got into a nursing program of some sort.

I haven't received a response either. 75 points here. It would be pretty amazing if I got accepted but I know it's highly unlikely.
