Pasadena City College ADN Fall 2020

Starting a thread for anyone interested in PCC's ADN program ? The application period is from April 1st-31st but they haven't opened up the application yet. Does anyone know when it'll be open?

Has anyone heard a definite answer that they are not opening their application for Fall 2020?

Yes, I emailed them and they said they're not accepting applications for this Fall.

Definitely a bummer. I had heard great things about Pasadena's program so I was hoping to have the chance to apply. I wish they would have updated us considering they only noted a "delay" in the application and many of us had been checking the website constantly ready to apply.

Did any LVN apply to the Bridge program and get accepted?

Yes, they did accept LVN. we got notified end of May. they had told us they were not sure if they were even going to be admitting anyone. But I am glad they did. I think the reason why they arent admitting anyone for the Generic RN program is because last semester's students are having to repeat because of they classes getting interrupted due to the virus so the LVNs are just filling in the spots that opened up in third semester.

None of the information is official, I just heard it through the grapevines.

And I am sorry that they arent accepting any new students that is very frustrating.

Hey everyone, I just graduated PCC's LVN to RN program. For those who were accepted, I am selling my clinical white scrubs and med-surg books. The scrubs are a size small for women, for both top and bottom, with the patch attached for $50. For reference, I am 5"2' and 120 lbs. I've worn the scrubs for two semesters.

I also have the Brunner and Suddarth's med-surg textbook, 1 and 2, brand new, for $110. Email me at [email protected] if you are interested.

Yes they are, and October 1st-30th will probably be the next application period

Just a thought, do you think the next maybe 2 cycles are going to be overloaded with applicants due to them not accepting this Fall? Kinda feel like it may affect some of us with maybe not so perfect stats
