Parkland Nurse Residency Summer 2021

Hey guys! Just wanted to start this thread for everyone who has applied to Parkland or who is thinking of applying! ?

Do you know what the title of the job was to apply for a Summer Nurse Residency and if the application deadline has been opened or already passed? Any information helps since I cannot find any through their website. I tried calling but they have no information at all to give me.

if you type "nurse resident" all the residency positions for the Summer show up. But the application deadline has already passed

Okay, thank you. When was the deadline? Did they say if they will open up again if they have any extra spots or maybe one later this year?

I'm pretty sure the deadline was around mid-February, not sure about extra spots and I think they have a fellowship program for nurses changing specialties

Has anyone been contacted about an interview for the critical care internship and/or the critical care residency?? I'm starting to get super nervous because I haven't heard anything.

I've interviewed for the internship and I think they're supposed to be wrapping up within the next week or two. I don't think they've contacted anyone about the residencies.

Well shoot... guess that means my chances are slim to none at this point. When did they contact you for an interview?

I was contacted like last Monday and I interviewed on the 5th.

Hey! I applied for the critical care residency and I haven’t been contacted either! My application status still says it’s under review though.

I just got a call about an interview! Do you mind if I ask how their interview process was and what types of questions they asked?
