Parkland Nurse Residency Summer 2021

Hey guys! Just wanted to start this thread for everyone who has applied to Parkland or who is thinking of applying! ?

Most hospitals have 3 residencies per year (Winter, Summer, and fall). I saw in December that some hospitals had opened up their residency for Winter 2021 cohort (job starting in February). I also had alerts set up for nurse residencies. I'm not sure if they will post more jobs. Someone said that if they don't hire enough people, they will post more jobs.

Yes, I have an interview Friday and know someone with an interview next week. I'm sure they will continue to contact people this week

That's awesome, congrats! Are you from Texas and when did you turn your application in?  A bit nervous now LOL

Thanks! and yes I'm in the DFW area. I turned it in on February 2nd. When did you submit yours? and yeah this whole process is very nervewracking

Very much! I submitted mine the second week of February. Hoping they are still going through applications and making more calls

For the internship its kind of one position but for the actual residencies that opened 2/1 I put STICU as my top choice. they haven't started calling for those yet

Does anyone know if parkland went up on their new grad nurse residency pay?

What was the name of the nurse residency you all applied for using parklandcareers.com? I know that I got an automatic email from parkland saying that it is now called The Parkland Bridge Program. However, I looked that up on their site and there is nothing to be found.
