Parkland NICU or L&D resident summer 2013 applicants

I thought we should start a new tread so we could stay up to date on any news regarding Parkland. I only applied to NICU and L&D nurse resident positions and graduate in May from UTA. I'm still praying Parkland calls!! ;)

I was told we would be contacted either way

So are people already getting contacted for ER residency??? I've been checking my email every 5 minutes! I want to hear something so bad!!

Did any of y'all send a thank you note? I know they said not to directly contact managers but what about sending one to the recruiter?

Has anyone out there received an email stating they have NOT been selected? My guess is they are waiting to see who accepts the offer before they chance telling the other candidates they don't want them for the job... Clearly they have already started emailing their "yes" candidates (congrats to all of those with offers -- that is awesome!). I am now just trying to figure out if they have definite "no" candidates or if we are all "maybes" -- my mind is running 100mph!

So, is it a phone call and email or just email? Do they seem like mass emails or individually types per person?

Did anyone apply a bit later than everyone else? I was not planning on looking in the DFW area until (very) recently and am starting to get bummed on my chances. I applied to the L&D residency last week. I was just wondering if anyone knew if they were still sending out interview offers or not?

I applied when they first posted the resident positions. But they are hiring 30 of us! So you still have a good chance! Keep checking your email everyday bc you only have 24 hours to respond or they will give your interview to someone else.

I get so excited and nervous every time my phone makes the email sound..... I check and still nothing....
