Parkland Fall 2013 Residency

Has anyone applied to the fall residency? I applied but haven't heard anything either way, however I noticed some new listings within the past few days that say they start October 2013 (I was under the impression it started in September.)

I called and left a message with one of the recruiters, but now i'm wondering if they pushed the start date back because of the government survey. If they didn't pass they probably wouldn't have hired a bunch of new nurses.

Anyone that's applied heard anything yet?

Does anyone know if they are still making decisions for the SICU I haven't received an email letting me know either way

KierraRN, I am not sure but I got teh email very early yesterday, at around 0830. I would suggest checking ur spam/junk mail folders and contacting the recruiter. Good Luck!

Hi ARMY-RN I'm interviewing on the 25 for ER was told to bring 5 copies of my resume'. Were you told the same for your interview with SICU.

I was told 10, I bought 12. I was interviewed by 2 panels of 5 ppl each. Definitely take more than 5 just in case.

You are right Army RN. I had two panel of five people each. I am still receiving massive rejections emails from parkland almost every hour. Seems like their system is not working. So, Kierra you may still have a chance. Good luck

Hi all interviews start tomorrow for ER Residency I'm excited and nervous. Anyone else interviewing on the 25th.

Me me me lol I'm so nervous I'm planning on getting there like an hour early hopefully there's a Starbucks or something nearby so I can wait... Flying out from Florida in the morning... Good luck to us open doors...

I haven't heard anything about ER, all the others said their interviews were laid back.
