Parkland Fall 2013 Residency

Published

Has anyone applied to the fall residency? I applied but haven't heard anything either way, however I noticed some new listings within the past few days that say they start October 2013 (I was under the impression it started in September.)

I called and left a message with one of the recruiters, but now i'm wondering if they pushed the start date back because of the government survey. If they didn't pass they probably wouldn't have hired a bunch of new nurses.

Anyone that's applied heard anything yet?

I applied September 1st received the email for under review sept 6th and for interview on the 12th...

See you on the 25th open doors..

Just got the "congratulations" email for SICU :-)

Specializes in ICU.

Congratulations guys I'm so excited for y'all !!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the ER. Can you share some insight on how to answer interview questions or questions to ask? I'm scared my nerves will get the best of me :(....

You guys will be the best SICU nurses

Congrats guys!!! I haven't heard anything yet. ;-(

Congratulations to all of you who got an offer. I have a question. Do you guys hold a BSN or ADN? I interviewed last Tuesday with SICU and I got rejection email today from medical surgical which I did not interviewed with. Any advice for interview and how to prepare will be appreciated. I have interview next week with ER and I want to give it my best. Thank you

Ok I received the same email from med-surg but dint interview with them...is that rearing SICU?

Nana and Judy, I received the SICU congrats email, and then few minutes later got the same Med surge rejection email. I then called the recruiter, and she confirmed my SICU acceptance. So I would say, dont worry about the Medsurg email...just hang in there and wait for SICU recruiters email. She stated that she was super busy today with all the interviews when I spoke to her this a.m.

Ok thx!!! I feel much better.

Great thank you. Hoping to hear from them soon.

Well, just got the email. I was not selected. Now I need to practice more for the ER interview.
