Has anyone applied to the fall residency? I applied but haven't heard anything either way, however I noticed some new listings within the past few days that say they start October 2013 (I was under the impression it started in September.)
I called and left a message with one of the recruiters, but now i'm wondering if they pushed the start date back because of the government survey. If they didn't pass they probably wouldn't have hired a bunch of new nurses.

kerasha did you not receive that email from Capria about orientation information, where to meet on Nov. 4th, what time, what to wear, the pay rate.... and other general info 'congratulations'...etc???
Giov no I didn't.. I only received the email for the medication test... How long ago did you receive that email? Ahhh man you are scaring me lol. Maybe I need to call in the morning.

Open doors I'm not sure if you applied to these places as of yet...THR Dallas had some GN positions posted for October, Medical City Dallas & Plano also had some GN positions, a friend of mines also called me yesterday to tell me about Granbury medical center also hiring GN's. Hope this helps I'm also praying, applying and keeping the Faith :-)

Does anyone have an idea about how long it'll take to get the contracts ready? I'm waiting until then to give notice and I'm beyond ready!!
If it's anything like the NICU residency (which I completed earlier this year) then you won't sign your actual contract until a month or two after you've started.

How long before starting did they have the "official" offers ready? I'm surprised the contracts take that long!
