Parkland ER Residency July 2014

Just wanted to let ya'll know Parkland has posted the ER residency for July 2014 if anyone is interested. :)

Well I didn't get chosen for an interview only got forwarded to hiring manager

Hang in there Lauren, hopefully we will hear positive or negative emails regarding positions. The recruiter that is sending out the emails for interviews, etc may be involved in all the hirings.

Oh I am sure. So close to graduation and no job yet. So that's what I am worrying about. But staying positive!

I am close to retirement in May and trying to get a real nursing job. Am willing to do ER tech at parkland if I have to get my foot in the door and try again in the fall! But would prefer this July!

If you're an RN, can you work as a tech? I didn't think that was an option once you're licensed....

Just an update after my interview today... I was told there is currently 8 spots for the residency and that they are hoping to get more approved at the end of the week. It sounds like decisions will be made by early next week. The managers said that they had over 600 people apply (not sure how many were actually interviewed). Crazy! Good luck to everyone!

Thank you for your interest in the ER nurse residency program at Parkland. I regret to notify you that you were not selected for the program.

We may offer an ER nurse residency in the fall. Please check the Parkland Careers website in August for more details.

Please be aware that the Surgical ICU area will be posting a nurse Residency position soon. Once posted please feel free to apply if interested. Interviews will not be held until May 21st for the SICU position.
