parallon

anyone else travel with parallon. you cannot ever change companies or you can never work for an hca hospital again. also cannot work at hca for anyone else. be careful when you sign up with them.

at the top of this page ned.

Not visible to me. Sure it is not an ad?

wow, parallon did make a mistake and took out tax from a state i never worked in but in the end it was hypothetical and corrected. i called the head of hr and he got involved. also i have been a nurse for 22 years and if my check was screwed up and not corrected i would not go to work until it was. i dont play with any agency. i am glad i did not have that experience. my recruiter at parallon is **********. i fired my first one after two years as we didnt get along as well as i wanted. ********** is wonderful. if you give parallon another chance ask for her. i also worked for trinity for a couple of years and liked them. what happened though is i was going to work at a hospital and when parallon found out (it was an hca_) they pulled it and i had to go through them. i am actually going to travel with parallon in january.

I'm not sorry! RNVIP is a notorious site that collects contact numbers and sells them to anyone. Recruiters hate having to cold call RN students and those just "thinking about it." The poor fools that give them phone numbers have many agencies call them, forever!

The other "service" they offer if you won't give up your contact info, is allow you to click through directly to agency websites. This is also advertising, not recommendations. RNVIP gets between $3 and $7 per click. Contact info is more valuable at $25 per purchasing agency.

Needless as to say, you are not getting a curated list of great agencies, in fact the opposite is more likely to be true of agencies who spend their marketing dollars this way. Sorry you got suckered. But you are now wiser, right?

Both those lists have "sponsors" or advertising money behind the scenes.

I've been getting daily spam calls (automated) and emails from US Nursing. Who are these tools and why are they calling me? Sorry, off topic from Parallon. Who would ever work with a company who employs these tactics? I won't.

I've worked a couple Parallon contracts, no issues for me.

no, maybe not the right site. it was over a year ago and the agency is reputable. the site i went to just listed some of the top travel agencies. no one called me, no one harrassed me. i just viewed the site and picked an agency i wanted to review. in the end i stayed with parallon because they had jobs where i wanted to go. th mee one i didnt like is out of wisconsin and place mostly in houston, california, and wisconsin places i am not interested in going. been traveling for 14 years, im not likely to get hooked up with a no name agency. nightingale is the exception. i did get paid on time and my recruiter did call me to check up on me. they just paid lower and gave no insurance.

ned, i will look up that agency and post it. if like houston or wisconsin or california they had a lot of jobs and paid very well.

US Nursing is the strike (temporary staff replacement) arm of Fastaff. They are both large, reputable companies. I have worked quite awhile off and on assignments for them. No problems.

sorry that whole thing posted. just some jobs they had, i dont do er, and i dont do icu anymore so some of them were not what i wanted either. i think it is a good agency though.

Ever worked with Fastaff? Same company. The lines are a bit blurred but I think they try to restrict the USNursing brand to strikes.
