PALOMAR/MIRA Costa ADN Programs 2022

Updated:   Published

Hey everyone I wanted to start a thread so we can support one another /ask questions for those of us who are applying to an ADN program 2022 Spring with Palomar, Mira Costa, Grossmont!

Does anyone know how many students they're accepting now after Covid? I heard its a little less competitive for Spring Vs fall!

@gabdcruz95 Congrats!! I didn't make the cut into Mira Costa with 93 pts

I want to call Grossmont and ask when they’re sending emails :’(

I was really hoping for an email from grossmont this morning. The longer it takes to get a response makes me think there must've been a very high number of applicants.

OMG thats so crazy! I think I had 93-94 points with Mira costa, so I got lucky! Im prior military so maybe that’s what got me in ? IDK but it’s super competitive this year! I’ll be denying my seat at both Palomar and MC if I get accepted into MSJC, so that’ll open up some seats.

I want to call Grossmont too they are my #1 choice but I doubt they would respond LOL. Congrats to those who got into MC!

Anyone know how many seats grossmont has?

I want to say 40, but I'm not positive.

That’s what I remembered hearing too. I just hope my chances are greater there

I've spoken with applicants from recent cohorts who have said grossmont's point cut off has been anywhere from 86 to 78 in recent years. But I think it's hard to know the accuracy of that because we never hear back about what points they accepted from our application. Someone may think they applied with 90 points but were really only granted 85.

Congrats! Are you accepting your seat? Or are you waiting for other schools?

I have a feeling Grossmont emails will go out tomorrow
