Starting this thread for the Winter 2024 cohort at Palomar Health. Applications open 11/22 with a start date of 2/24. Their website says they post individual unit openings, but close them if they get high volume - so apply early.

It's on Wednesday at Escondido. Any tips? I heard there used to be some kind of info sessions for interviews. Do they still have that and if so, did anyone attend? Any pointers will be much appreciated!

Congrats. Mostly what I've heard is the usual stuff - why Palomar, why ED, why nursing. And then behavioral questions like safety or difficult patients.
An acquaintance had an interview with L&D 2 weeks ago, but I don't think she's heard about an offer.
Re: 'closed' jobs I think it means they've made their selections. I know a number of units like Neuro and Cardio acute already made offers. It would be nice if Palomar sent emails to people, the Jobvite page is really pretty useless.

OK I had an interview about 2 weeks ago and still haven't heard back.

Do you think you'd be able to ask that individual if the status of their application says closed? I'm just curious if they'd send out an email letting us know if they were moving forward with us or not...

I got an interview with Palomar ED! Any tips? The manager told me the interview is only 30 mins long but I'll be meeting with multiple people one-on-one.
