Members are discussing their experiences with receiving responses from a school regarding their application status for a nursing program. Some members have received acceptance emails, while others are still waiting or have received rejection emails. There is also discussion about orientation dates, points-based selection, and being placed on standby lists.
Just wanted to make a thread for fellow applicants at Palomar College Nursing Program for the Fall 2025 semester. I applied, it's my first time applying. I think if they count all my points I will be at 89 points. I applied at Mira Costa as well, but as many of you know, the lottery system is a complete gamble.
So far, I have received an email that my application had been accepted and the email specified that they hope to be issuing decisions by mid-April to may.
Good luck to you all.
EliMag25 said:Not Palomar. But just got off the waiting/alternate list at Mira Costa and was officially given a formal acceptance for the Fall 2025 session. So excited! still waiting on Palomar's decision since it was my first choice. Really hoping that y'all get your well deserved seat!
Congratulations!!

I was able to get all points on that section because I'm already a Spanish speaker and just had my work supervisor sign off that I spoke a second language at work. If any of y'all are in a similar position, I'd say just ask your supervisor to do you a solid and sign off on it
