Palomar College - Fall 2025 Nursing Application

Published

Just wanted to make a thread for fellow applicants at Palomar College Nursing Program for the Fall 2025 semester. I applied, it's my first time applying. I think if they count all my points I will be at 89 points. I applied at Mira Costa as well, but as many of you know, the lottery system is a complete gamble.

So far, I have received an email that my application had been accepted and the email specified that they hope to be issuing decisions by mid-April to may.

Good luck to you all.

So, I've been thinking. We know people have gotten their acceptance letters that have the highest points, but has anyone been accepted from the lottery pool yet? I'm just curious.... As of now, I am trying to stay in the mind frame of "no news is good news". Some of those accepted will not be accepting since they got accepted elsewhere first, which works out for some of us. The suspense though....

I'm in the same boat. I'm really trying to stay optimistic and positive.

I don't know if it was lottery or not but one of my friends who had between 82-87 points received an acceptance letter from Palomar.

I have 83 points this time around. I'm taking my second semester of Spanish this Summer so I can apply with the language points next go around if I don't get in for the fall cohort. I  should've taken it last semester and I didn't. Live and learn....

I wonder how it works because I had 91 points and haven't received anything yet. .-.

I applied with 92 points and still have not received anything, luck to us all!

Okay good to know 🤞🏻

The waiting is so tenseee. I was given alternate admission to Mira Costa, and now waiting for Palomar's decision. I got around 85 points at MC and maybe 80 for Palomar. Good luck everyone ! Hopefully by Monday we hear something back

Can you ask plz? LOL. Inquiring minds want to know.

But yeah this waiting game is terrible 😵💫

I hope we hear something back on Monday!! I'm curious too if the lottery individuals already got their acceptance?

They don't tell you what pool you are from. It's a generic acceptance letter. I wish I had more information as well, we just have to wait it out. Hopefully there will be more issued next week, and we will have some answers.

I think it's safe to presume that your friend was admitted into one of the 10 spots that is lottery based since there are multiple people within this chat thread that have earned a higher score without receiving an email. My best guess is they will start another round of emails solely based on the number of applicants that decline accepting the first round of offers.
