:balloons: Hi everyone!
Received packet 4 in the post on Tues! Lots to organise now! Excited, nervous - Can't believe it's all now happening. Interview on 17th July!
Also I promised my son I would try and find out (may seem like a daft qustion!) will his playstation work over there?? I said he could get one out there but he wants to take his with him?? Maybe he'll need a transformer? They certainly know their priorites at 17!!:lol_hitti
I looked into the same for my son's Game Boy. It appears that some (if not all) of the games may work with a US system. Does it say on the CDs/boxes that they are international/not just GB or Europe?
I'd e-mail Sony and ask them to make sure rather than taking games that don't or may not work.
Like most of our kids DVDs/Videos, we're selling them and using the money to buy US equivalents or other things when we get there (or so my kids think ). It helps sweeten them for the move.
Cheers

we bought usa games when we were on holiday for gameboys to play here in the uk and they worked ok, playstation and xbox games and systems definately dont as the tv system is different in the uk its pal not ntsc like the usa
oh, if you are buying an xbox 360, some of the games only work on 60 hertz tvs which some of the older tvs dont have, much of the new software is best played on i high definition tv.
How do you do this.Mine my be complete as well.
Hi Ann
First you need to know your NVC case number
then you ring the NVC 001 603 334 0700
then you follow the prompts push button 1-2 ect
then when you get to the bit that asks you to put in the first 3 letters of your number you press the related key pad EG if it's LND you press 563 once each then you will be asked to put in the rest of the digits, and hey presto. Good luck

A friend of mine contacted the airline in advance explaned the situation & was allowed to pay in advance for excess bags, this was a much cheeper way than paying excess at the airport.
