Hi Bigvet1998,

Greatly appreciate the new forum!

I tried to respond to your message but the site wouldn't allow me and thank you for reaching out. Any information is great information. Hoping to join you and other's in Spring. I felt hope after reading the post about 25 students being "waitlisted students"for this Fall's Cohort. I believe that means they pulled students from the current Spring. Have you heard anything more regarding that?

I think what jdue was saying i his post in June was that at the time (June) he talked to someone in the program (at that time) and they had 25 wait listers in their class. That tells me that someone that started prior to Fall '16 had 25 people from the wait list in their particular class. I dont know how many are in the Fall '16 class, I am going to ask that and see if anyone knows. The people that I have met that were in the fall cohort have always been assigned to that cohort. Hopefully more people will let us know. I know that one of your fellow wait listers has been selected to start TCC's nursing program in January and will not be accepting her seat if she is offered one. Yes if people were moved to the fall cohort they would have come from the spring group making a few openings and people from the spring group may have chosen to start somewhere else instead. So if a few droped from fall and a few drop from spring the that make room for a lot of waitlist people.

If anyone else knows anything on this please chime in.

Still cannot figure out how to PM or respond to the other messages. In reference to that, currently attending Lake Washington Technical college. I am finishing my last class for my Associates Pre-Nursing degree. Bummer about the 25 student thing. Guess I miss read the forum.

I don't think it's a bad thing, if one of the other spring cohorts ended up with 25 waitlisters so could we, hopefully you will just need one I thought you had figured it out since I received your reply. Have a great day and keep you chin up!

Does anyone happen to know when we will start hearing from the SON on what our next step is before beginning is February? I know registration is coming up in November and feel like we should start hearing soon, but wasn't sure..

Hi Loveandmercy! I totally understand how you feel and the wait has been daunting. Grateful January is literally next month. It would be the greatest gift to be accepted off the waitlist and hope that both of us do. Have you applied anywhere else? Are you currently working in the medical field?

Thank you for your empathy towards me. I haven't applied anywhere else but i am hoping to retake classes like Micro and psych 100 because that would bring my gpa to 3.9 something.

I am on the wait list for spring cohort. I don't know my chances of getting in all I can do is hope and pray. The last I heard was the waiting list is not moving but I have faith, Christ can move mountains.

Nursing orientation is this Friday, so perhaps they'll have a better idea of the spaces that will become available after that. Good luck.
