hey guys I was accepted!

I'm still waiting to hear back from SUNY downstate. is anyone else thinking of downstate? wondering about the pros and cons. I missed the downstate info session, so I kinda applied a bit blindly due to the cost.

Good afternoon. Has anyone received a decision today?

Been checking the portal all day, nothing from my end. I really don't think I got in at this point ? LOL

I panick applied to NJCU to cope with the stress ?

Same here, at this point I have other options so Im not going to sweat it and decide which of these 4 are the best to go to.

Yeah. IDK what to think at this point. ? I am about to apply to another school, myself. I really don't understand their process at all. I was told that I would hear back in a month from the time I applied. It's been way longer for me. Annoyed ain't even the word. But it is what it is.

I feel that! I figured so many people apply to the more popular schools like Pace so I made sure to apply to like 9 total LOL to have options. I researched so many in NYS to make sure there were programs. You said it. Is what it is.

It was very smart of you to apply to multiple schools. If I had taken entrance exams, it could have potentially opened up more options for me. Shame on me. LOL Honestly, I was banking on my grades, personal statement and good LORs, but this definitely humbled me...Not counting myself out yet, but I am prepared for any outcome. And even if the answer is N-O, I take it as a sign to consider "New Opportunities" or "Next Options".

What entrance exams! I banked on all of that too. I avoided schools that required the TEAS and only applied to schools with the pre-reqs I had taken this past year, my LOR and my GPA. Don't count yourself out! I read Pace can sometimes take months to get back and people waited until May/June. Also, think of it perspectively! Schools can only accept so many, if you don't get in or hear back it may not because you don't qualify but because of the cohort size and they could only take a certain amount. These programs arent the biggest so don't let that deter you. Gain some experience, continue to work towards that degree and apply again!

? Thank you so much for the encouragement! I'm cracking up at "What entrance exams!” I swore you took an entrance exam. LOL. And you're right. I'm just going to keep persevering!!

I feel the exact same way! And 100%, NO is Next Options!!

I found out NJCU extended their deadline, so I've been studying for the HESI the last 2 weeks and taking it next weekend just in time for their deadline. Not sure if it's an option for you but just so you know! ?

Thank you so much! That is so thoughtful of you! ☺️ Best wishes on your exam. You got this!
Currently ?ing at NJCU's pre-req requirements, and they don't ask for a million and one classes. (Amen! LOL) I'm sure I wouldn't be comfortable taking the HESI so soon since I haven't studied. But if anything, it's looking pretty appealing for the future if I may ever need to do a second round of applying. Thanks again! ?
