PACE University ABSN Fall 2023

Hi guys! Just wanted to start this forum because I haven't seen anything for fall 2023. lets support each other!! I am a reapplicant and I applied super early this year. I hope we get some feedback on decisions towards the end of the year. Good luck to everyone!

Hey, I just heard back as well. I am waitlisted!! As you said, its better news than what I was expecting!! What school are you waiting to hear from? I had applied to Mercy and got accepted but I declined acceptance last month and was able to get my deposit back ? Mercy NCLEX scores made me decline their acceptance.

I panic applied to NJCU after a month passed waiting for Pace cus I just had a feeling I wasn't gonna get in (my GPA from my undergrad is quite low LOL) ? I found out about NJCU when there was just enough time to take the HESI w/c they required. I'm hoping to hear back from them in a couple weeks. 

Re: Mercy, although you withdrew, congrats on that acceptance! Did you apply anywhere else?

Hi! I emailed recently and I was told that they'll continue to go through the waitlist as spots open all the way until mid-August ?

I recently got accepted to Pace's ABSN program and have committed! I wanted to know if anyone knows how we go about registering for classes? I followed the instructions on their email but keep getting an error message. I'm meeting with an advisor today but wanted to see if anyone is having the same issue.

Hi Leah.... Not sure if you were able to clarify with your advisor...Below is a screenshot of registration details that I found in my student portal.

Congrats, and good luck!! I was researching that school but couldn't determine their cost, could you please let me know? Most schools are around 50k-70k. Thank you.

Hi yes! Sorry I just saw this. 

 

So if you are okay with moving upstate SUNY Buffalo, Binghamton and Brockport have ABSN programs and if you're from NYS you'll get their instate tuition which could be maybe 25-30k total and thats tuition wise. Even out of state isn't too bad. Obv there are other expeneses in our lives to add on to that but its much better than a 70k tuition to start!

 

I am going to Brockport because Ill only have to take a student loan out for 45k which includes their tuition and my personal expenses as well such as rent, bills, etc. 

If anyone wants to know all the schools I applied to Ill list them-- keep in mind these are the more expensive schools:

1. Hartwick (they give out HUGE scholarships by the way and its a great school, I almost went there)

2. Pace

3. Manhattanville

4. Iona

5. LIU Brooklyn

6. College of Mt. St. Vincent

7. Stony Brook (obv the hardest to get into but a SUNY and very inexpensive)

8. Mercy (money hungry)
