Hi guys! Just wanted to start this forum because I haven't seen anything for fall 2023. lets support each other!! I am a reapplicant and I applied super early this year. I hope we get some feedback on decisions towards the end of the year. Good luck to everyone!

I couldnt believe it when I saw it. I know someone who was in the Mercy program not long ago and she said how its unorganized and hard. What save her was group studying. I feel like at this point whichever program we go to, it won't be easy but either way im ready to give it my all and push through the end. What other schools/programs you applied to in NYS? What are the other top 2?

That's all I keep hearing as well. Smh
Yes, that's true. We just have to do the best with the cards we are dealt.
Edit: Sorry, just realized you weren't talking to me. ?
I'm with you on not taking organic Chem or the TEAS! Every program will definitely be tough but with group studies and working together it's more than possible. I applied to Hartwick, SUNY Brockport, LIU Brooklyn, Manhattanville, College of Mount St Vincent and two out of state Emory and UMiami.
So far I got into Hartwick, LIU and waitlisted for SUNY Brockport.
I'm a big hiker so going upstate would be something I could do. Hartwick has an amazing program and SUNY Brockport as well. Both with very high NCLEX scores.

I heard it's a little chaotic but I have a friend who graduated but she said like all programs accelerated are typically like that but she got through it!

Don't be sorry!! If anyone has ideas, comments or questions to something that wasnt asked straight to them, I think its fine to answer honestly. We don't know much about the programs and are new but as a pack we might learn more from other's opinions, questions and comments. I kept looking for your comment but couldnt see it until I saw it was edited LOL.

LOL, yes. ? I was like "Oops!”
And you are so right about learning from one another based on comments and questions
I mentioned that SUNY Downstate has a great program. So does Hunter, but it's super competitive. However, I refuse to take the TEAS. I also refuse to take organic chemistry over again. (It was brutal.) It's expired for me anyway.
I also mentioned that I applied to NYU.
Hefty price tag, but I have mainly heard positive things about the program from friends, YT videos and past forums. LOL
And @ajkushner12, I totally agree with group study being being helpful! Wherever we go, it will be difficult because of the subject matter. But group study has been super helpful for me in the past.
Alfie said:Hi, I was just accepted into the program today. I was wondering if anyone received any notifications regarding scholarships?
Congrats! I was told the same when I asked about scholarships so research! A lot of your local businesses like to help out. I have a bunch of friends who researched where any bit of money helps. I'm still waiting hopefully getting accepted like y'all soon! When did you apply?

Same. I thought of applying to Mercy because their weekend program would allow me to still work during the week. But I can't get past the low NCLEX pass rates! And as an alum, I can say that I didn't have a great experience with Mercy.
I'm hoping Pace gives us decisions very soon.
