Pace ABSN Fall 2017

Hi Everyone!

I know I'm crazy early because the deadline is March 1st, but I wanted to see if there was anyone else applying so we can all start exchanging helpful info. :)

My status just changed to decision made! Now I just have to wait for that letter....

I was accepted but I have decided to attend another school that is less expensive.

So those of who have not heard back from PACE yet, stay positive :) After May 1, you guys will definitely be accepted!!!!

Hey, don't be discourage. If you didn't hear anything yet, you might be waitlisted. If you are, and you don't make it off the waitlist for the fall, they will accept you for the spring. They usually send all the notifications to the accepted students first. Then after the deposit deadline, they start the waitlist. If you are not on the top 5 you probably will not get off the waitlist. Don't let that stop you, because like i said they will offer you spring acceptance. They will be pulling people off the waitlist up until the orientation. Accepting students up to the deposit deadline. I hope this eased a lot of your nerves.

well the deposit deadline is Monday, so they more than likely did all the interviews already. last semester when I applied they pretty much sent out all the acceptance letters prior to the deposit date. than after the deadline they know how much extra seats are available, so they went to the waitlist. when I spoke to admissions they only pulled 1or 2 people off the waitlist. they get like 500 applications and they interview about 200. out of the 200 they have 70 seats and some seats are reserved for people from last semester. that was just an example I was given so I don't know if those are exact numbers. so not everybody who apply will get an interview, so you should probably apply to other programs..liu starts in august and they do same day acceptance events. also pace have a spring semester you can ask them to push your application for. if you don't want to give up, try to call and speak to Susan and ask are they still conducting interviews for the fall?

Thanks for all of the info! I asked LIU about same day acceptance but they said it doesn't apply to the accelerated program

My status changed the same time too but I haven't received a letter or email as of yet, did you find out if it was an acceptance? At this point I'm kind of pessimistic and thinking it is a rejection or waitlist notice since the deadline for a deposit is today.

My application is still in review and I haven't had an interview and it's driving me crazy because I don't know what to expect :(

sorry -- just to clarify, my status changed to decision made Apr 28, based on prior forums, waitlist notices from 2016 were sent out Apr 26... which I think is my answer :(
