What is your advice to those of us who are already committed to attending Pace in the fall? Also, do we need all the textbooks that are listed for our courses the first semester ?

U dont need any of the textbooks first semester. The problem is ur gonna have to buy the coursepoints for patho, fundamentals, and davis edge for psych cuz they are a part of your grade and the coursepoint comes with an e-book. You guys have a different curriculum. Your patho and pharm is together and fundamentals and geri are seperate. It was opposite for us. For pharm the book is helpful but beware, pathopharm will be the killer for your whole class.

i m applying for the Fall 2018 semester and going to my interview on 2/12. Can someone please give me a heads up on what to prepare for the writting portion? I have no problem with math. Please I just need to know what to prepare for the writing part.

Hey i am currently an absn student at pace currently in the second semester and I say this with the utmost honesty.. this program is hell. If you are prepared to give up your life for a year then come on board. The two year program has been removed due to how much easier it is then the one year. The staff does not help you at all they are trying to fail students currently to weed out the class. I am currently surving but still on edge as is the entire class. The summer semester is the most ridiculous. My advice if you get into another absn go there because this makes you not want to do nursing. If anyone has anymore questions feel free to ask me. Hi all,

I am starting the pace ABSN this fall and have a question. Does each clinical site drug test/background check all individuals as we rotate through their site? Can any past students speak to this?
