  1. I initially bought the international/global/softcover version of the fundamentals book but will be returning it. The page numbers are not the same and there's only certain sections that we need to read in each chapter. I'm just gonna rent the book and save the money there. It's been very confusing trying to figure out which page number corresponds to the assigned pages.
  2. Realistically, yes. An interview is required and they already sent rejection letters to those that interviewed.
  3. For anyone asking about where I will be going, I got into my local community college's ASN program & will be doing that for the next two years & then going for the online 1 year RN-BSN at my Alma mater. I will be paying tuition out of pocket while I work so debt free
  4. I was interviewed on 4/11, decision changed on 4/28, & I received my rejection letter today. No waitlist lol. Thankfully I got into my safety school so in 2 years I will be an RN && debt free. I'm definitely very happy. Congrats to everyone that got in! May the odds be in your favor!
  5. Thank you ladies. I think I am going to stick to the ADN program and then just jump into an RN-BSN program and go from there.
  6. I took all of my credits at the school I got my BA. I have only retaken A&P I & II at NCC.
  7. If you've received an acceptance then you are in. The interview, essay, & pictures are just to get to know us and to get a profile of us. If you received your acceptance letter & go to the first day interview then you are good. Congratulations!
  8. I have been accepted to both the ASN/ADN program at my local community college as well as an ABSN program. I'm just wondering whether an ADN will truly limit where and how quickly I find employment after graduation. I have been doing a lot of research and keep finding different answers. The ASN is one clinical course over 4 semesters, the ABSN is an 11 month program. Besides the obvious cost difference (no debt vs $50-80,000 in debt), I'm nervous that the course load may be too much in the ABSN. I'm hoping to eventually become a midwife or work in L&D but I feel like an ASN won't allow me to get a job like that until I complete an online BSN. Any advice, comments or knowledge would be greatly appreciated.
  9. My status just changed to decision made! Now I just have to wait for that letter....

  12. I called the office of admissions and checked my student information and I have also been accepted to the evening program! Congratulations to everyone that has found out so far! When I called they said that there is one woman looking at all 600 applications and that admissions decisions are still being made! Good luck to everyone!
  13. Has anyone from the April 11th interview received a decision yet?
  14. I think that they are... The website says they are and the dosage calculation exam and english portion were part of the interview.
