I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on their experiences with the PA Board of Nursing. I am currently in the process of registering to take the NCLEX, and am getting very frustrated at how long it is taking to process my transcripts. I have friends in other states who got their transcripts processed and received their ATT within 24 hours of them being sent. The board is also nearly impossible to get a hold of and are not very helpful if you do get to speak with them.
Has anyone had any luck with speaking to someone who can expedite the process of transcripts? Or is anyone in a similar situation?
Thanks! :)
Hey guys thanks for sharing your experiences, mine have been similar. I am from NJ and testing for PA, my transcript was sent June 5th and then again July 5th but still nothing shows on my PALS portal! I've called a million times but am never able to make any progress I get the same "we haven't received your transcript from the mailing center" but its been 5 weeks!! This is out of hand!
was it electronically or by mail? mine were sent electronically on June 1 and they definitely had it by the 2nd time I went to Harrisburg but apparently just "hadnt gotten to it yet". I did what the above people had done and just didnt leave until they went to go look for my transcript. 30 mins later I had my ATT
even though its a hassle- my best recommendation is to drive there yourself if you can
Thanks kathpeng, I think you're right! They were sent by mail, but definitely should have been received over the past 6 weeks. They said it "hasn't been processed yet"- I've been on hold with them since 9AM, I could have driven there by now so thats what I'll do I guess! Anyone had any luck getting ATT by driving there if the transcript hadn't been "processed" yet?

I finally received my ATT on July 3rd. I called (for the billionth time) and basically refused to get off the phone, asked for a supervisor and let them know my next step was contacting my state representative. I had my ATT about 30 minutes later.
