Outfit for job interview

Hi,

I have an interview tomorrow for a position as a school nurse. The interview is with the Lead Nurse for the District and it is offsite. I am coming directly from my current school nurse position and won't have time to change clothes, unfortunately. I usually wear scrubs and our school sweatshirt to my current job, but occasionally will wear "normal" clothes. Ordinarily I would dress in professional dress for an interview. I am trying to figure out a happy medium that is comfortable, doesn't look weird for my current position, and is professional enough for an interview. Thoughts?

I'd go with business professional for any interview

I showed up in a suit for my hospital interview. In a casual world where people wear polos to funerals, formal business attire shows a respect for the position you are asking and the care you will put into it.

Thanks- my instinct was to go full professional and I will just deal with the questions from colleagues ;)

Good decision - professional attire is usually the best way to go. Tell your co-workers that you have a photo shoot after work ?

Haha! I walked in about 10 minutes ago and already three people were like "wow, you look fancy, big plans"? I just said I felt like dressing up today.
