I graduated from the PH too and I just took my nclex 2 days ago. I started out by getting a SSN and then applying online. They have a website that lets you apply online instead of mail. Then you make arrangements for your transcripts and diploma, or-dr cases for your school to directly mail those to your BON.
Should I apply to nclex now even I'm ineligible to take the exam here in California? I already have my SSN. I'm just don't know what to do first.í ½í¸©
Why are you ineligible? Have you taken it before?
I haven't tried. Didn't applied for it because I read a lot of reviews that they need to take up OB/medsurg to meet the CA BON requirements.

You don't apply for the NCLEX. You apply for a nursing license by examination. If any of your clinical cases were outside the semester you had theory you will be ineligible. (Such as competing an OR case in Jan 2016 but had mad-surg Sep-Dec 2015). NCLEX is one step on the path to a nursing license. You cannot register to take the NCLEX without authorization from a board of nursing
How can I apply to the nursing license by examination? Can you please help me how to do it?

What year did you graduate?
It depends, what year did you graduate?
You follow the instructions:
Licensure by Examination
I graduated in 2012.
Thank you so much.. I'll update you on my progress. Hopefully I can make it.
