Hi

Can anyone tell me about the program? Would you recommend it?

Thanks

I was this close to going there, but I was offered a really good scholarship at my school so I didn't. But, I heard it is a pretty good program. One of my friends is doing this program.

I was also accepted to the school.. When will you be starting? I need to finish my pre-reqs first..I was just happy I was able to apply and find out I was accepted before I finished my pre-reqs.

Any tips on the interview?

Just don't be nervous. The person who does the interview is somewhat intimidating. That's really all I can see. I just answered her questions and she was happy! LOL

The interview wasn't a big deal. Why do you want to be a nurse? What are your strengths and weaknesses? Exciting questions like that. :) Try to relax and just be yourself. Be sure to go with a list of questions YOU have, in case they don't all get answered.

I graduated from Lourdes in May 2006. It was a terrific program. It's much more intense than other schools, but it was well worth it when i stepped into the real world. everyone in my graduating class passed the NCLEX the first time, except for 1 person, who passed it the 2nd time around. The school offered a full scholarship, which most of us took, in exchange for 1-year F/T employment. it was equivalent to $10K. i went straight into CCU from nursing school. hope that's helpful.
