Hi guys! Interviews started today for the May 2011 cohort, and I think I was one of the first few to interview. I know we can't talk about specific questions that were asked during the interview, but I just wanted to see if anyone would like to share their reactions/experience here.
I personally felt pretty good, I did get one "I love your answer!" so that made me feel a little more secure:D since I felt like I stumbled on this one other question. I did feel a little rushed since they told me the interview would be super short right in the beginning (did anyone else feel that way?) I didn't get a clear answer on where we will be having clinicals/classes though....
I'm sure it will be another month after interviews end until we all get mailed acceptance letters.
Nothing in the mail for me today. I emailed the assistant a few weeks ago and she replied that letters would go out at the end of August. I may need a nurse if this goes on much longer. I'll check out the Dream Cruise this weekend and try to relax.
You guys are ALL making me feel better. I interviewed on July 26th, and I still have not received a response. I am freaking out over here and I have my husband check the mail every day. I hope we hear very, very soon. :) Good luck to everyone!
Thanks for calling and asking. So, apparently, this is the week for us. Like evansmom, I did not receive anything in the mail on Saturday. I think I will be even more anxious this week. As I said before, good luck to everyone waiting for a reply. Hopefully, we all get in!
once you all get your acceptance letters we should start a group on facebook or something to get to know one another since we will be spending a lot of time together!!
LOL, both Dandy778 and AdamsMaMi are right. Although, I think we need more than one drink. We've been spending a ton of time together. I know I am on here a bunch throughout the day. I even visit on my iPhone. Haha.
Hi everyone! I have just been reading your posts :) I am in a similar boat so I just wanted jump in and say good luck! I'm not at OU, I'm at Madonna but I have just started my waiting peroid...They told us you will get a response the earliest by the end of August and the latest by the end of September, so a whole month to check the mail..I also heard from many people the rejections are sent first so right now I'm scared to check the mail Its been a long summer...I did my official app in June for ns..
Yep, no letter here today either. I agree about both the drink and Facebook. It will be nice to put a face with a name when this is all done.
Iluvpatho - I never considered that. I wonder if OU does the same thing. Good luck to you. I think I would die waiting for a month like that. I think this is bad enough, I cannot imagine a month window.
