Hey everyone! I'm new to the site and I haven't seen any currently active threads for next years ABSN program so I may be posting in the wrong forum. Apologies if this is the case. I still have three of the science prerequisites (Mbio, anatomy and physiology) to complete that won't be finished until the end of this semester but I made an A in chemistry so im wondering rather or not this will count against me for admission. I am a nervous wreck! I applied to Tulsa as my first choice and OKC as my second and it looks like they updated the acceptance stats on the websites homepage.
They don't look too bad compared to previous years. Only 98 applied but only 32 got accepted to Tulsa's program it looks like. I know I can't be the only one dying to receive admission decisions for the 2016 cohort. Anyone else out there freaking out?
I just got off the phone with the advisor and she said some of the admission decisions have been released. There will be more tomorrow, and the last day to hear back is Monday. She also said accepted, rejected, and waitlisted.. all applicants should receive an email. *Phew*.. there's still hope! I was starting to get bummed out.
I was waitlisted due to having an outstanding amount of science prerequisites and not having my BA degree finished before applying but I'm happy at least I didn't get rejected & I know i'll definitely get in next year lol good luck to everyone one who got in! Congrats dphom! Did you get into the accelerated program or the early acceptance program? I did not get into the early acceptance program . I am hoping that if I don't get in through regular admission, I will get into the ABSN next year!
Thank you! I got accepted to the accelerate program. I actually got denied early admissions to the traditional program, lol. It all worked out for me. . I'm sure you'll get in next round, if not this time!
