OSU-OKC Fall 2021

I haven't seen a forum for nursing applicants for the Fall of 2021! Just out of pure curiosity where others are standing with points and anxious about applying! 

I'm sorry to hear that! You are not alone that is for sure. A lot of other programs do test on A&P and not chem so I see why you would have prepared the way you did. Your scores are awesome on the other sections, you will kill it next time! It will be reassuring to apply with all of your pre-reqs already done as well. Keep up the positive attitude and best of luck!

I'm sorry! At least next time you take it, you can go in knowing what to expect and feeling confident! I know a lot that took it more than once because that first time can be kind of overwhelming when you don't know exactly what it's like. & I agree that you will feel way better applying with all your pre-reqs complete, and the fact that you won't have to worry about them once you start the program will be an advantage! By any chance does anyone know if the Spring session is during the day? At OCCC the Spring cohort is evening classes. TIA

Good question and I really don't know but just always assumed it was day. I bet you could call (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) (nursing admin asst) and she would tell you. She's always pretty helpful in answering questions. 

Did you apply to OCCC? Do you know if the pre-reqs are the same?

I'll give her a call next week and find out! I didn't apply to OCCC their point system is drastically different its only out of 25 points, but the pre-reqs are the same, I am finishing up my last science pre-req with them currently.

I’ve been reading this thread trying to figure ease my own anxiety LOL If I calculated right, I’ve applied with 100 points. (Luckily I did all my sciences) Soo I’m hoping that’s right. Good luck to everyone!

The anxiety is real!! I'm right there at 100 points with you, as long as I calculated correct as well, LOL. I'm sure it won't be until at least the end of the month, but I hope we hear soon! Good luck to you too!

You both have more points than I do and I also still have a science to complete. Wouldn't be surprised to hear sometime next week. Letters went out pretty fast last cycle, shortly after app window closed.

LOL. The anxiety during the waiting game is what gets you the most. I was fine during the HESI and applying but now that I’m waiting it’s like uhh ? and yeah, when I called she told me 6 weeks so we’ll see!

Wait. Next week?! That’s super fast!! They told me 6 weeks LOL and IDK if my points are 100% calculated right because I wasn’t sure how to calculate my GPA cause I already have 2 degrees so I wasn’t sure which they would take but we shall see! Good luck to you as well!

Soo anyone feeling anxious or is it just me? I calculated my points wrong ? but I have over 80.

I'm definitely anxious! Can I ask where the point calculation went wrong? I'm worried about that too but I think I've gone over it a million times. I tried to submit my application in person but every time I went, the person was out of office so I didn't go over it with her. 

I wish we knew when we would hear something!
