Orientation(s)?

I keep seeing people mentioning that they have/had multiple orientation days. Is this normal? I guess I never thought there'd be more that one..

One day I have the school's new student orientation and b.s.n. orientation. We had two days we could choose the overall new student orientation. Then later that week we have a 3 hour Convocation. :sniff:
