organization of articles tips?

I too have loads of articles that I used for school and am still printing some out. Presently I have them in 2 very large 3 ring binders under subject, i.e. cardiac, renal, etc. I have been thinking of a different way to organize them (better?) but just haven't gotten around to it yet. Maybe I'll leave them in the binders and just get another large one as they are almost at their max. I'll be watching this thread for any other advice! :wink2:

You could scan them to a computer disc and throw away all that paper...

Agree - use a program to sort the references and come up with a database of your articles. Get them online or scan the ones you have, then you can carry them with you, and much easier to search a keyword for what you need.

I am wedded to paper versions of articles as I like to highlight. I amstoring them in expandable file-type folders under the classes where I originally retrieved them. I also keep them stored in my EBSCO file on-line. For me, it is easy for me to remember that there was a good article about such and such when I took that particular class. There are just too many resources and not enough time in the day!
