Hi future nurses!! I just applied for OHSU's nursing program for fall 2020 as a transfer student. Has anyone else applied yet?

Just got an interview invite for Ashland! Has anyone else heard back? I'm guessing Portland applicants will hear something next week!

I applied to this program too. I was waitlisted for the OHSU ABSN in Portland. Hopefully we hear about interviews next week! I think my prereq. GPA is around 3.75, and I've worked as a CNA at OHSU for the past year, with previous medical assistant experience and a couple of volunteer experiences too.

did you apply to the BSN program as well? waitlisted is good news congratulations!! did you find out from email?

Yeah I applied for the 3 year as well! And yes I found out I was on the waitlist via email. It's better than getting rejected, but definitely not ideal. I know I could've done so much better in my interview, so that feeling sucks.

Did you get any email regarding the 3 year program? I haven't got anything yet

Ohhh, no I haven't gotten an email regarding the 3 year program yet. As for the interview, the questions are mostly about interpersonal relationships. They were pretty vague questions, giving you the opportunity to answer any way you saw fit. I won't give any details, but just consider how you would handle a variety of challenging interpersonal situations.

Has anyone heard anything from OHSU about 3-year program interviews? Aren't interviews supposed to be next week?

Yes, I heard last Wednesday about the 3-year program interview for OHSU Klamath Falls Campus.

Should hear something today or tomorrow. They said two weeks before for Portland campus. Interview invites came out at like 6pm last year.

Oh sorry I should have clarified - I'm wondering about the Portland campus. Hopefully we all hear something today or tomorrow then!
