I was also offered a spot in the Portland Winter cohort, so I guess they did open a number of spots! I was originally "moderately likely" on the waitlist.

I think 24 Summer, 32 Fall, 24 Winter? Is anyone who was placed in the “highly likely” category on the waitlist still waiting on a spot to open up?

Anyone else on the Portland alternate list get an email saying they might add more spots to the Winter cohort?

I also heard back 5/18 initially. 5/31 for my acceptance off the waitlist. You def should’ve heard by now. Check your spam/trash maybe?

I’ve heard really amazing things about the CCC program from nurses who have gone through it, and so-so things about the PCC program from nurses I work with. That’s a hard (but good!) choice to make though. I’d probably base it on your proximity or lean towards CCC personally!

My email specifically said I was in the top 15 alternates. If it didn’t specifically say that, then you are somewhere beyond #15 on the waitlist.

Was today the deadline to accept a spot at CCC? I’m in the top 15 waitlist for CCC (although IDK where I fall on that list), and would for sure give up my spot at MHCC if I got into CCC. Maybe between PCC notifications and intent to enroll deadlines, a spot will open up.

Yes. I got an email stating I’m a top 15 alternate and that I need to attend orientation with the accepted candidates. IDK, they probably put everyone else as alternates just in case they go through the first 15 alternates?

I know people were either accepted, notified of being a top 15 alternate (but not your specific number within the 15), or alternate. However, I’m not sure if there were any that interviewed who were outright rejected, or if everyone was placed somewhere on the alternate list.

It’s specified if you are in top 15. Orientation date they gave is June 11th, which I’m assuming is for those accepted as well as top 15 alternates.

Yes, it specified top 15 and that I have to attend the mandatory orientation on June 11th.

I was placed on the top 15 alternate list. Does anyone know how many they usually accept off the alternate list? I know it can change year to year and this year is going to be extra uncertain. But any insight would be nice. CONGRATS to anyone who got in! Must be a huge relief.
