I'm so excited! I got my acceptance letter from OHSU for the BSN program at Monmouth campus yesterday. I can't wait to meet all of you who will be in the same cohort! For those of you who applied this year and didn't get in, DON'T GIVE UP. Believe in yourself and take it as an opportunity to learn, grow and make your application stronger for the next application cycle. This was my second year applying and receiving an interview and it finally happened for me, and it can for you too. I was devastated the first time I applied and got waitlisted but just know you got this, never give up. It will happen with persistency.

Happy Birthday Mikey! Hope you receive some good news today. I'm so anxious. I wish there was an exact day we could expect to hear back with a decision instead of just a period of time we may hear back.

I am not exactly sure when we will hear back about acceptance/rejection to the program. However, the email I received after I had submitted my application gave a timeline breakdown of what to expect. It mentions towards the end that we are suppose to receive decisions in early April.

Proud of us all for completing our interviews. We all got this! I also agree the questions asked were not at all what I had prepared for or was expecting, I'm a bit nervous about it. I'm curious what date the last interview is, as mine was to be completed by the 23rd and noticed someone else mentioned they completed theirs today (the 24th). What campus did everyone apply to?

Hey everyone, just checking to see if anyone has been accepted off of the alternate list yet? Specifically the Klamath Falls campus?

I tried calling the admissions department and they’re out of office because of Covid. How did you get a hold of them? By phone or email? Also if it was by phone what number did you use.

Did they mention an average of how many get admitted from the list per a year? And goodluck to Everyone who applied for Portland!

I read through some of the past post on this thread and it looks like other campuses did specify the likeliness. Maybe K. Falls campus forgot to? Or there’s not many on the list to begin with?

I was placed on the alternate list today for OHSU and was not give the specification if I was highly likely, moderately like, or somewhat. Have you been placed into any of these categories this year for ohsu?

I really don’t want to wait that long either but will if it gets me a spot! I am however a bit confused because in other threads for the OHSU BSN programs, people who have been placed on the alternate list mention a “highly likely”, “moderately likely” and “somewhat likely”. I did not get an indication of what category I am under, did you? Or did they discontinue telling us what we fall under?

Do you know how long they were on the alternate list until they were told they can have a spot?

Unfortunately, I did not get in. I was placed on the alternate list as well. However, I still feel very devastated because I don’t think it is very likely for them to pick off the alternate list. I just can’t grasp the idea of someone actually declining after being accepted.

I have been doing the exact same. This process is very nerve racking!
