Oregon Health & Science University School of Nursing (OHSU) Fall 2020

Published

Hi future nurses!! I just applied for OHSU's nursing program for fall 2020 as a transfer student. Has anyone else applied yet?

Hello! I also applied for fall 2020 as a transfer. I'm surprised this is the only post I have found for the 3 year BSN program.

Do you mind sharing your stats? I'm surprised too!

I applied as well!! ?

I'm a little older, I'm 24 and have my AAOT from PCC. I have a 4.0 prereq GPA, all of my classes are finished, and I took Chemistry. My cumulative GPA is a 3.45, which isn't the greatest. I also have health care experience working in a clinic and volunteering on a unit at Legacy. The essays were really challenging for me, and took a lot of time and consideration. So happy to be done with the application!!

That is very impressive!

I have a 3.8 overall GPA

4.0 pre req GPA

100 hours of volunteering at a hospital

My CNA license but no health care experience

& a second language

I'm glad to be done with the application too.

I'm from the Bay Area so I'm applying out of state. Anyone else?

Hey there,

applying to the 3 year with a 3.91, with all my pre-reqs completed. Have over a year of experience working as an EMT and prior military. Those essays were rough.

You sound like a great applicant! I am an Oregon resident.

Hi! I have a 3.8 GPA, with four years of direct patient care hours (both paid and volunteering) and am applying from the Sacramento area.
I am still finishing Microbiology, though. Your stats all sound great!

I agree everyone's stats sound so awesome!

Anyone know when we'll hear back from admissions?

Interview dates are early April (for Portland) we should expect to hear back 2nd or 3rd week of March. They usually give two weeks for you to plan. Look forward to meeting everyone!

I just got an email about Mock Interviews, anyone else?
