Hi future nurses!! I just applied for OHSU's nursing program for fall 2020 as a transfer student. Has anyone else applied yet?

I was on the alternate list as “highly likely” to get in, and I just got accepted this morning around 10:15 am. Woohoo. Good luck to you all.

CONGRATS! What campus was this for? I’m on the highly likely waitlist for Monmouth ?? did they call or email you?

Has anyone else heard back for alternates?

I found out last week and accepted on Thursday for the Portland Campus. I got my admission packet by email on Monday.

Nothing yet? I noticed we’re both highly likely on monmouths campus and applied to chemeketas program. I’m guessing you didn’t get into chemeketas program either? I had a phone conversation with their admissions office on Tuesday and they basically told me to be patient. They do not have a full cohort yet but are waiting to hear back on those who mailed in their stuff. So hopefully there’s some movement in the next few days!

No I didn't get into chemeketa. I did worse on my test this time. Okay let's hope we hear back soon, and we hopefully both get in.

I did a little better this year but honestly that test is a joke and the majority of the people that get those high scores cheat. It’s the same exact test as last years and people take notes and study those answers. So don’t feel bad about that rejection. I have my heart set on ohsu! I really hope we both hear something sooner then later!

I never heard anything...I was an alternate for OiT and KCC. I had to apply back home in SC and will be moving in Oct. It's a joke out here that they only take people once a year. No wonder there is a shortage of nurses
