I thought I'd start a thread about anyone currently applying to any of the OHSU Nursing programs for the 2014 cohort. I currently have three applications in with them: Accelerated BSN to MSN: Psychiatric Mental Health, Accelerated BSN, and the traditional BSN Program. Has anyone had any word from them? I know that the Accel. programs have closed both their applications. Any word on interviews or scheduling?
I am currently finishing up my preqs at PCC. I am working full-time and am just flustered. I hate not knowing anything with regard to where I stand or what type of candidate they are looking for.
Does anyone else feel similarly?

We just made our own groups last year-- a combined Fall/Summer group, and then a Fall specific and a Summer specific one. It wasn't set up by the school or anything-- just FYI :)
I was accepted into the Summer absn cohort and I am trying to get all my ducks in a row to start. Can you tell me a little bit about the class schedules?? I see that an orientation is scheduled to take place on June 30th, which is odd since classes start June 23rd??
Any info would help. Also, where do you park?? How do people usually get to class?
I think that for first year's class start on June 30th, if you look further down the schedule there is another start date listed as 6/30. Hopefully they'll send out more information. I just contacted the program coordinator & 1 month before classes start we'll get our OHSU email & network accounts. Congrats on getting it. I can't wait to meet everyone! Are you just doing the accel-BSN program?

Thanks! We haven't received our packet yet, but they'll give us a deadline to accept the spot (I think June 15th) and then they'll call the alternates once spots open up. I think your email says if you were a 'highly likely' 'moderate' or what to know your chances. Good luck!
Such a waiting game! Thanks for the tip, it only says they recognized my strong academic potential and fit for their program but couldn't accept all of their top applicants due to limited seats! So Im not sure, I'm curious as to whether they let candidates know where they are at on the list. Hope to see you guys this fall :)
