We are currently looking for new desks for our OR. Basically something that rolls, has space for a computer monitor, writing space and storage underneath for the CPU unit and perhaps some chart/folder space. The ones we are trialing have all of this but the monitor hangs over onto the workspace so it makes charting and such very difficult. What are you all using?

Why not use a laptop instead of CPU with monitor? That's what I see on the med surg floors of local hospitals for med admin, laptops on rolling carts.

Our monitors are mounted on the side of the cabinet above our desks. They're on extending arms so that we can push them up/down/back/forward/whatever. That way we have the desk (small counter really) that can be completely freed up. No storage underneath though for anything. The CPU is mounted on the wall below the counter on some other bracket thing.

This rolling computer stand is much like the ones we use in the OR:

Rolling cows is what they call them. They are so compact and you can roll them from one side of the room to the other with no problem.
