Hey everyone :)
So fall just flew in so I thought what a great time it would be to start my nursing applications lol. It is very early, but I enjoy having this on my mind. I am in my final year at University and am hoping to be a nursing student come next September. I wanted to make a space where we could come together with a common goal: getting accepted. The schools I plan to apply are:
Trent, Toronto, Humber, Western and Queens
Possibly considering RPN programs as well.
Hey PHealthNurse,Thank you! :) I think my last 10 credits worked out to be about a 3.45 from Queen's University. To be honest, my grades REALLY were not my strong suit I think, I'm definitely at the cut off edge for grades. My grades were finalized on May 12th, but I didn't send my transcripts until yesterday and they had not received them when I was talking to someone today. Originally I sent my first set of transcripts at the end of the Fall 2016 semester so that would have been in January. On my U of T account it still says my transcripts are not yet reviewed though
Thank you so much!! :)
Hey everyone, I was accepted to Mac back in April and accepted my offer, paid the deposit all by the deadline. However, I never received anything in the mail from them, only the letter through Mosaic. Just wondering if anyone else received an acceptance/welcome package in the mail from them. Thanks!
Hey, I haven't received anything from them either. My mosaic still says the offer is conditional. I think at this point they're just waiting for final transcripts / skills & abilities letter to be handed in.
Hello All,Congratulations to those who have received offers of admission, and best of luck to those still waiting. For those who have received offers of admission to Mac, I wanted to ask if you have received further information as to our immunization requirements, assuming you have accepted your offer of admission. The offer I had received stated that I would receive more information on the requirements once I accepted, but I have yet to receive anything. Thanks for your time and for those attending Mac in the fall, I will see you then.
Hey, I asked the coordinator about this a couple weeks back after I accepted my offer. I was asking if all the supplementary documents are due at the same date and she just told me we'll receive more information about the immunization/CPR/police check later on. So I'm assuming the deadline is a lot later than the skills and abilities letter.

Hello @kenra9,
Thanks for the response. I received a call back from the admissions office and she confirmed that we would receive information about it later on and that it wouldn't be due until after our conditional requirements. I think she said CPR is one of our last requirements and most of the supplementary requirements would be due later in the summer (I think). Looking forward to the fall semester!
