Hey everyone :)
So fall just flew in so I thought what a great time it would be to start my nursing applications lol. It is very early, but I enjoy having this on my mind. I am in my final year at University and am hoping to be a nursing student come next September. I wanted to make a space where we could come together with a common goal: getting accepted. The schools I plan to apply are:
Trent, Toronto, Humber, Western and Queens
Possibly considering RPN programs as well.
Hello @kenra9,You remembered just on time! I emailed mine in a while ago, took a little bit for them to respond that they received it. Yep, do you know if our classes are integrated with the individuals doing the 4-year stream. That's what I'm thinking based on the descriptions offered on the site.
She responded pretty quickly when I sent mine in, but then again I sent mine just yesterday lol. I was reading thru the calendar as well as some older forums, they said that we share classes with all the other streams (even the CoMac stream) when we take our 4th year courses. So I'm guessing the first couple of courses will be exclusive to the accelerated stream.
For all those who accepted to Mac! The Skills and Abilities letter is the only part of the conditional offer that is due by June 1st correct? Our final transcripts are not due until August 1st? Am I reading the conditional offer right? Thanks :) So excited to meet you all in Septemeber.
Yup, you read that right! I did the same thing as @Mandalynne890 -- ordered my final transcript to be sent in til it says my degree has been conferred.
I wish they'd just tell us that we are already fully accepted. I dunno bout you guys but the whole conditional thing is deterring me from finding a place to live in starting September lol

I can understand that, I've looked a little bit and I must say I'm not overly thrilled with what I've been seeing. I'm told by others that conditional is pretty much a garuntee acceptance so I wouldn't worry too much (: luck with the house/room hunt.

Hey @cdom12! I accepted my offer to Mac and paid the deposit as well! The only confirmation I got was an email, I haven't received anything in the mail either!
