Hey everyone :)
So fall just flew in so I thought what a great time it would be to start my nursing applications lol. It is very early, but I enjoy having this on my mind. I am in my final year at University and am hoping to be a nursing student come next September. I wanted to make a space where we could come together with a common goal: getting accepted. The schools I plan to apply are:
Trent, Toronto, Humber, Western and Queens
Possibly considering RPN programs as well.
Hey guys! I'm new here. I did my undergrad from UTM and just got accepted to UofT and humber and i've been debating which one to accept (as may 1st is the deadline for humber). I know UofT is really intense (especially since I've done my undergrad there) but it is a shorter program than humber's nursing. Do you guys have any advice?

I would recommend U of T. It may be harder but you'll come out better prepared and that's extremely important as a nurse. Their NCLEX pass rates for 1st time takers are consistently at 100% or hovering very close to there. As a school with more funding, you'll also have access to more resources and better clinical partnerships. The cohort is smaller as well, which makes it easier to find friends and learn with a smaller educator to student ratio. And of course, finishing earlier has its own financial and mental advantages too.

I just checked MyFile for York and my status changed to Admitted! So for anyone still waiting it looks like they're sending out acceptances and you should check :)
