Published

I know it's early, but let's get a thread going. 2015-hopefuls, share your thoughts, concerns, questions, and experiences here!

@rwkip Yes that was super clear! thanks so much, I'm really starting to get excited about attending York

Wow, so informative! Thank you so much!

@eerichardson

When I applied to Western last year I had ~81% (not entirely sure) and I believe their cut-off was 85.00%

Program coordinator told me the admissions AVERAGE was 82% for last year...

I've been accepted into York and Western and am awaiting a response from U of T.

Hi @tiamaria123

Do you mind telling us your average/GPA? I'm waiting on Western. :) Thanks!

@tiamaria123 and also, congrats!

Any other males in this thread/applying to compressed nursing programs like myself? Still waiting to hear back from UofT and Western. Average in my last two years is mid-high 80's, so hoping that'll turn out to be good enough.

@tdmah I went to York and my GPA was 8.29 on a 9 point scale. My deadline to accept/decline Western's offer is April 3rd. Most likely that's about the time that they'll start sending out the next round of offers.

I'll probably choose York over Western, mainly due to the fact that I would need to buy a car to participate in the program at Western. Also, I heard that you may need to relocate for the final placement.

Does anybody know how much tuition will cost at York? Is there a link where I can see this?

Hey, I'm male also and still waiting on U of T. Sounds like you have strong average, mine is in the high 80's as well. On the website it says decisions with be sent out between April and June so I hope we get lucky know in the next 2-3 weeks. The waiting game sucks!

Got into York today :)

cGPA: 3.33, sGPA (last 10 credits): 3.43

Just got a conditional acceptance to lakehead yesssssss
