I know it's early, but let's get a thread going. 2015-hopefuls, share your thoughts, concerns, questions, and experiences here!

Hi!

I applied to York and Toronto (no expecting Toronto as I am still in my undergrad and dont have a degree yet!) But I am finishing up all the requirements and should be done in april (pending there is no strike at york!!!)

Good luck!

Hi everyone! Glad to finally see an active thread. I'm applying to Trent, UNB-Humber, Lakehead and Nipissings SPP with a 3.52 GPA in my last 10 credits and I'm currently in my final year of my HBSc at UofT.

Are you applying to Lakehead's compressed program?

Yes, all of the programs I'm applying to are compressed. Have you heard from Lakehead yet?

I've applied to the compressed program at Lakehead. Has anyone heard back from them, or any other nursing program, yet?

I applied to Lakehead's compressed program. I am pretty sure they will send out early acceptances two weeks into February. Any idea if/when they send out an admissions profile for mature students?

Has anyone received an offer from Humber yet? On my profile it still says "Program Requirement Not Met: Bachelor's Degree with a Minimum Overall Grade Point Average (GPA) of 74%". I received an offer last year on Feb 1st.

I haven't gotten a response back in terms of an acceptance, but I have the same note on the "my srs" as well. I was previously told that only the last 10 credits would be considered for admission (not cGPA) and from speaking to nursing admissions at Humber for the compressed program, I was told that those "missing requirements" are done automatically and will be removed once someone from the admissions committee reviews and assesses each application individually which might be different from how things were done last year. That might not answer your question but just thought I'd share what I was told in case anyone else had similar concerns.

My Humber account also says the same thing under 'missing requirements' and I have over a 74%, so I would agree with jessly and say that it hasn't been updated yet. Hope that helps!

Ah, thanks for the updates guys. I was beginning to worry. I guess they haven't assessed our applications yet.

Hey guys! I also applied to U of T, York, Western and Humber. Anyone know when we're supposed to hear back from York?

Hi ak11rs!

Depends if your internal or external to york! Are you currently studying there, or do you have adegree already?
