I know it's early, but let's get a thread going. 2015-hopefuls, share your thoughts, concerns, questions, and experiences here!

Hello! I have applied to Ottawa, Queens, Toronto, and Western. I was accepted by Queens last week but had to decide by February 20th, so I accepted! I didn't want to take a chance. Does anyone know if the other universities can see that you have accepted another university and won't accept you?

I just called Humber. The cut off for this year is a 3.5 in your last 60 credited hours. Last year was a 3.3.

The GPA can get higher or lower depending on who accepts/rejects the program. As of now, lower than a 3.5 will be put on the waitlist. The first set of admissions are until May 1st. After that if spots open up the waitlisted individuals will be contacted. Good luck everyone - it's a high GPA this year. Definitely not what I wanted to hear!

Humber is also behind on their admisisons because of the new system.

Jessly I didn't ask but they said the first group should have received something by now. They have until May 1st to accept or reject. Then the second batch gets offers based on how many people rejected the offers. What was your GPA for your last 60 hours if you don't mind me asking?

Ah okay thanks. I'm at a 3.52 in my last 60 hours although my status for humber still says "not available yet." Hope we both get in!

Jessly I'm not 100% sure that they sent out the first offers tho! That's just when I gathered from what she said since they know who's on the waitlist already, they may not have gotten to the individual confirmations just yet.

My status says the same thing for Humber and I certainly have the average for their cut off. Maybe we just have to wait a couple of more days. Thanks for sharing!

I submitted my "confirmation of personal statement of experience" around January 21st. My GPA is a 8.27.

I applied to Western,York,Trent. UofT, Queen,McMaster and Nippising.I hope I get in this year.
