I haven't seen a post for Fall 2021 yet so here it is!
My choices are:
1. UofT
2. McMaster
3. Nipissing SPP
I started my OUAC application in November and now trying to work on the supplemental packages. My CASPer Test is on January 12, 2021.
I need to take Anatomy and Physio course(s) however, I'm having a hard time figuring out what would satisfy the requirements from all three universities. My options so far are:
1. Take CBLG 101 in Winter and CBLG 111 in Spring at Ryerson. However final grade will be in June; hoping that's fine. This satisfies all 3 unis
2. Take SCS 2159 in Winter from UofT which is enough for UofT and McMaster but not for Nipissing. I have to take an Anatomy course just for Nip.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from back home, been working as an RECE in Toronto the last 8 years, have a Diploma in Nonprofit Management at Ryerson. My cGPA is 3.55 which I'm worried about. Lots of extra curricular activities from university and volunteering here in Toronto. I still have to compute the GPA for the last two years.
I requested WES to send my transcripts to Nip and McMaster and asked my old uni to send to UofT.
It's been an expensive application so far; really hoping I get in! Looking forward to chatting with you all and sharing our experiences.
It doesn't show it for me and I am wondering if its because I am currently a yorku student ?
If anyone knows please let me know.
I would say yes because my York transcript does not show up there! Just the course that is in progress now (they requested proof for some reason even though it's a york course) and my college and university transcripts from previous years / other schools.
hey there! I'm a current yorku student as well, but I applied through the program change request! I think it says to do that on the website under the admissions tab!!
I have applied through OUAC 105 as I am graduating this year.
Oh wow, that is stressful! I'm pretty sure that was top 10 GPA. We all had to do virtual placement last semester which was really disappointing, but I actually learned a lot, and got to practice assessment skills and vital signs on my family members. It was really helpful for finally getting into placement this semester! There is a big emphasis on critical thinking skills, so that is really helpful in being able to learn in a self-directed manner.
It does suck that it got canceled, but overall it sounds pretty cool still. At least they gave you some sort of an opportunity to still develop these skills! How do you find the self direct learning so far? Has it been hard to learn the content yourself, and do they give you a guideline of what to do?
I am missing my Anatomy course pre req under my MyFile. I did not realize that was suppose to be there. Mine only shows my CASPer as being received as well as my post secondary transcripts.

Oh okay thank you so much, then they probably know that we are York students and can see our transcripts without sending it in right?
I would assume so! There was a comment on mine next to the anatomy prereq that I'm not finished that said "in progress @ York" so they must be able to see it
