I haven't seen a post for Fall 2021 yet so here it is!
My choices are:
1. UofT
2. McMaster
3. Nipissing SPP
I started my OUAC application in November and now trying to work on the supplemental packages. My CASPer Test is on January 12, 2021.
I need to take Anatomy and Physio course(s) however, I'm having a hard time figuring out what would satisfy the requirements from all three universities. My options so far are:
1. Take CBLG 101 in Winter and CBLG 111 in Spring at Ryerson. However final grade will be in June; hoping that's fine. This satisfies all 3 unis
2. Take SCS 2159 in Winter from UofT which is enough for UofT and McMaster but not for Nipissing. I have to take an Anatomy course just for Nip.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from back home, been working as an RECE in Toronto the last 8 years, have a Diploma in Nonprofit Management at Ryerson. My cGPA is 3.55 which I'm worried about. Lots of extra curricular activities from university and volunteering here in Toronto. I still have to compute the GPA for the last two years.
I requested WES to send my transcripts to Nip and McMaster and asked my old uni to send to UofT.
It's been an expensive application so far; really hoping I get in! Looking forward to chatting with you all and sharing our experiences.
I think they have gone through all the applicants. I'm pretty sure they rank us based on our GPA (80%) and CASPer score (20%) and then send out offers to the top 80 or so applicants. They finished sending out offers on May 12th so anyone who is "pending" must be on a "waitlist" (I.e., not a formal waitlist, but a list of applicants who are in the running to receive an offer if another applicant declines/lets their offer expire). A few days after May 12th a bunch of people received rejections which must mean their ranking/GPA/CASPer score is too low to possibly be admitted this year. On May 19th a few people received offers, this must be due to spots opening up from some people rejecting their offers/letting them expire. The offers expire after 10 days so I'm assuming more offers will be sent out sometime this week since the May 12th offers just expired today. I have no way to verify that all these assumptions are true, but I think they're likely the case based on what I've been reading on here, Discord, and Reddit!

Congrats! That's awesome! Have you accepted it / planning on going? When I applied my GPA was lower but my prereqs have increased it substantially, so I'm hoping that will help with my waitlist spot.
What was your GPA (the queens calculation)? I think I have a shot because of my ECs and my statement but I'm worried I might have to reapply for next cycle.
I have accepted my offer! I am still waiting to hear back from another 2 program but I am pretty sure I'll be attending Queens. My GPA for my undergrad was around a 3.7 (I'm not sure through the Queens calculation tbh with you) and my Masters GPA is a 4.0 (not sure if this was considered or not).

My cGPA was a 3.0 and my last 10 credits were about 3.6 at the time of applying and I got an acceptance letter on April 30th. I wouldn't worry too much!
Thank you so much!! Are you an internal or an external applicant? I heard only a certain number of internal/external applicants can get in. Specifically, a smaller portion of those internal and a larger number of those external. I'm from York so my chances are most likely lower ?

I'm an external applicant that was admitted to York on April 30th with a 3.9 GPA. I'm fairly certain that York doesn't discriminate based on what school you went to. There just happens to be more external applicants which is why more are admitted. Statistically speaking, it would be highly improbable for there to be a higher or equal proportion of internal applicants admitted.
I’m an internal transfer too! Mine is still pending but when I click on the requirements, it says transcript and supp app is complete. Might want to email Vicky from Mac admissions?
Also they said there were 1000 applicants so it’s possible that they just haven’t gone through all of the applicants yet and pending just means pending ?

Oh hmm! It says my interim transcript is complete and my supp app is complete but its asking for a final transcript? Did you apply through ouac or did you use the transfer form? I feel like it might be showing up because I applied through ouac and didn't use that internal transfer form? Not fully sure though, I'll probably send an email anyways to be safe.

Does anybody know of there were offers for York were sent out this week? I know UOFT does it every Friday so I was wondering if it was similar?
For those of you planning on going to York, have you found a facebook group yet? There is an official group (York university second entry nursing: incoming class of 2021) but my membership has been pending for a week.

Someone emailed york admissions and if I can remember, they only accept 20% of internal applicants and 80% of external.
