Hey everyone!
I haven't seen a post for Fall 2021 yet so here it is!
My choices are:
1. UofT
2. McMaster
3. Nipissing SPP
I started my OUAC application in November and now trying to work on the supplemental packages. My CASPer Test is on January 12, 2021.
I need to take Anatomy and Physio course(s) however, I'm having a hard time figuring out what would satisfy the requirements from all three universities. My options so far are:
1. Take CBLG 101 in Winter and CBLG 111 in Spring at Ryerson. However final grade will be in June; hoping that's fine. This satisfies all 3 unis
2. Take SCS 2159 in Winter from UofT which is enough for UofT and McMaster but not for Nipissing. I have to take an Anatomy course just for Nip.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from back home, been working as an RECE in Toronto the last 8 years, have a Diploma in Nonprofit Management at Ryerson. My cGPA is 3.55 which I'm worried about. Lots of extra curricular activities from university and volunteering here in Toronto. I still have to compute the GPA for the last two years.
I requested WES to send my transcripts to Nip and McMaster and asked my old uni to send to UofT.
It's been an expensive application so far; really hoping I get in! Looking forward to chatting with you all and sharing our experiences.
I actually clicked a different option ? I think it was pay deposit and not the pay tuition one. Do you think thats fine?

If you go on ACORN under finances I am pretty sure I clicked make payment and on the right hand side it says pay tuition and fees by credit card (make sure you choose this, tuition deposits are not able to be paid by online banking) from there it will allow you to input everything, hope this helps!

Just now, nursetobe99 said:Thats so weird, I would maybe try next week see if anything changes but if not you could always email admissions!
I know right? Ya I emailed them because I just want to pay it early so it can be processed in time and I don't have to worry about it anymore! It's so annoying LOL

They have two options, pay via credit card or pay via online banking, and as long as you chose the option where you input your credit card details, you should be fine and it should show a $500 credit! It was the option on the right if that helps

I saw an option below that on the left side, where it said pay deposit with credit card! and I was able to fill out my details and it showed the $500 deposit, so I hope im fine.

Me too *sighhhh* there's always next Friday!
Does anyone know when they start wait listing people? I was under the impression next week would be last for acceptances and then it's waitlist time - I could be wrong though.
Best of luck y'all!! I'll be drowning my worries in wine and RuPaul's drag race.

Whaaat!? I paid mine by adding UofT as an online banking payee....
Hey! Did anyone get an offer at York with a lower GPA? Admissions said we'll expect to hear back from now up until June which is stressing me out ?
My last year (30 credits) GPA was around a 3.67 or 7.7/9 (york scale).
Cumulative GPA is around a ~3.4 ish or 7.08/9 (york scale).
If anybody can share, it would be greatly appreciated!

My cGPA was a 3.0 and my last 10 credits were about 3.6 at the time of applying and I got an acceptance letter on April 30th. I wouldn't worry too much!
