Hey everyone!
I haven't seen a post for Fall 2021 yet so here it is!
My choices are:
1. UofT
2. McMaster
3. Nipissing SPP
I started my OUAC application in November and now trying to work on the supplemental packages. My CASPer Test is on January 12, 2021.
I need to take Anatomy and Physio course(s) however, I'm having a hard time figuring out what would satisfy the requirements from all three universities. My options so far are:
1. Take CBLG 101 in Winter and CBLG 111 in Spring at Ryerson. However final grade will be in June; hoping that's fine. This satisfies all 3 unis
2. Take SCS 2159 in Winter from UofT which is enough for UofT and McMaster but not for Nipissing. I have to take an Anatomy course just for Nip.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from back home, been working as an RECE in Toronto the last 8 years, have a Diploma in Nonprofit Management at Ryerson. My cGPA is 3.55 which I'm worried about. Lots of extra curricular activities from university and volunteering here in Toronto. I still have to compute the GPA for the last two years.
I requested WES to send my transcripts to Nip and McMaster and asked my old uni to send to UofT.
It's been an expensive application so far; really hoping I get in! Looking forward to chatting with you all and sharing our experiences.

I am assuming they will because the email said they're letting applicants who's documents have been processed know if they are accepted, declined and waitlisted. I think it will be an ongoing process until June 15th because transcripts are due the 24th and by June 15th, they will have numbers in terms of who has declined their offers and start giving those spots away. That's my guess though.

Hey, that's what I did, I just sent another request for "immediately"
Hi all!
Similarly to the sending your Winter 2021 transcripts to Western, does anyone know if you should email UofT admissions with your unofficial transcripts? Would you upload it onto your application?
I was finishing up my Human Physiology requirement this Winter, so they'll be needing it if they're considering me. I have set for my transcripts to be sent after the Winter term on OUAC though!
Thanks ?
I’m gonna post it again cause it got buried.
has anyone received an offer of admission to rpn to bscn delivered through Mohawk? I received an offer from conestoga... same program different school.
just wondering if anyone has gotten it from Mohawk yet?
I think people posted they got offers from McMaster but that’s the 4 year program? If anyone can advise.

Hey, this thread is mainly for second-entry nursing programs. I'm assuming everyone who's here is not an RPN.
The McMaster program most people talk about is the 2 year accelerated stream. I've read a few have also applied to some 4 year programs as well but this thread is mainly geared towards the fast track programs.
Wish you find the answers you're searching for! Good luck!

Hi! I applied to both Mac and UofT. I've accepted my offer at uoft, as it was always my first choice. My reasons are: uoft seems to have the best placements (UHN, etc.), it's the top nursing school in Canada, I've heard lots of good things about the faculty and just culture there in general, high NCLEX passing rate and I did my undergrad at uoft so the transition seems easier? IDK LOL. location was also a factor for me.
Mac has a unique teaching method, I think its called PBL or something. I've heard mixed opinions regarding that. And for mac the accelerated students begin year 3, there's no separate program.
Hope this helped a little!
