Hey everyone!
I haven't seen a post for Fall 2021 yet so here it is!
My choices are:
1. UofT
2. McMaster
3. Nipissing SPP
I started my OUAC application in November and now trying to work on the supplemental packages. My CASPer Test is on January 12, 2021.
I need to take Anatomy and Physio course(s) however, I'm having a hard time figuring out what would satisfy the requirements from all three universities. My options so far are:
1. Take CBLG 101 in Winter and CBLG 111 in Spring at Ryerson. However final grade will be in June; hoping that's fine. This satisfies all 3 unis
2. Take SCS 2159 in Winter from UofT which is enough for UofT and McMaster but not for Nipissing. I have to take an Anatomy course just for Nip.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from back home, been working as an RECE in Toronto the last 8 years, have a Diploma in Nonprofit Management at Ryerson. My cGPA is 3.55 which I'm worried about. Lots of extra curricular activities from university and volunteering here in Toronto. I still have to compute the GPA for the last two years.
I requested WES to send my transcripts to Nip and McMaster and asked my old uni to send to UofT.
It's been an expensive application so far; really hoping I get in! Looking forward to chatting with you all and sharing our experiences.
Hey everyone check your Nipissing Web Portals. I got a conditional offer to Nipissing today! The only thing outstanding at the time I completed my application was my anatomy and physiology prerequisite. I completed that in March, but because it was it was after the document deadline, they said they would only look at it if I got a conditional offer and I did!
So far I've gotten acceptances from Nipissing & humber/UNB. Still waiting for U of T, Western , and Trent (If get accepted to Trent, I will be declining the offer, but still unsure which to pick among the other 4).

Out of curiosity, I am wondering why you would pick Nipissing and Humber/UNB over Trent?

hey I got accepted into Nipissing today too! Do you know where we can find our offer letter? Webadvisor is a bit confusing?
Hey everyone, I got a conditional offer to Nipissing today as well and wanted to let everyone know that accepting other offers did not have any affect on my future offers just because I know with Nipissing the status change confused some of us.
I will most likely be declining both Nipissing and York as I have accepted UofT and I think thats what my final decision will be. Just a heads up though, if Nipissing does not give all offers out today I have until May 28th at accept so there may be some time before a second round (I'm not sure if they do that though)

My last 2 year GPA is a 3.44
I think my best 10 which is what Nipissing looks at is a 3.7.
Just a heads up though, I did my undergrad in the US and our grading scale is very different from what it is here in Ontario. For example my 3.44 is a B+ in the states and that translates to 87-89% in the States. I know here an 87-89 is an A and a B+ is only 77-79%. I’m not exactly sure how the Universities interpreted my grades, but just wanted to let you know.

Nipissing’s program is shorter and is a lot closer to me than Trent. And for Humber it’s just closer.

No idea I was going to call or send an email because I was a bit confused as well LOL
I was accepted to all 4 programs I applied for (UofT, Western, Queens, McMaster). I have declined western, and accepted UofT. I still have time to switch to Queens or McMaster and wanted to hear other people’s opinion on which schools their top choice and why? I chose UofT as its Toronto and I hope to work at a hospital there but as per the programs I’m not aware of any major things that would put one over the other.
So any insight would be appreciated!!

I applied to UofT, McMaster, Queen's, Western, and Humber.
Queen's and Western essentially became automatic no's for me due to having to move. If I wasn't accepted anywhere else, Queen's was my first choice, but since being accepted to Humber, I have decided against Queen's.
Humber is my "lowest" choice for my top 3 (UofT, McMaster, and Humber). All three of these were my top choices due to being able to stay local and not have to move, which was a lifestyle and financial decision. If I don't get accepted to McMaster or UofT, I will be going to Humber in September.
Now, the final two: McMaster and UofT. I would be ecstatic to go to either school, but UofT is slightly higher on my preference due to my undergraduate history with UofT. I'm also slightly more partial to UofT because at McMaster, you enter year 3 of a 4-year program, whereas UofT is just a designated 2-year nursing degree. So that's my input ?

I know I got accepted 3 weeks ago and haven’t gotten anything in the mail. The conditional offer and letter that was posted online had a lot of detail and info so it’s making me think they won’t send it.
